External Stakeholder Meeting Held with ViennaLife Pension and Life Executives

Following the recruitment simulation event, a productive external stakeholder meeting was held with the Human Resources team from ViennaLife Pension and Life. During the meeting, Asst. Prof. Dr. Didem Hekimoğlu Tunç, a faculty member of our department, provided an extensive presentation covering our academic programs, accreditation processes, strategic goals, and learning outcomes.

The visiting team expressed their appreciation for our curriculum structure, particularly the Career Planning course offered in the first year and our elective system that allows students to choose specialization tracks starting from their third year. They further suggested that incorporating additional courses specifically tailored to the private sector within these specialization tracks would be highly beneficial for the students' professional readiness.

Both parties reached a consensus on organizing practical workshops focused on job applications, such as LinkedIn profile optimization and CV writing. It was agreed that these sessions would be supported by the training unit of ViennaLife A.Ş.

A significant highlight of the meeting was the announcement that ViennaLife Pension and Life is preparing to enter the healthcare sector. In light of this development, potential career opportunities for our students and alumni within their new health-focused units were discussed. The representatives committed to consulting their respective departments to provide further information on future collaborations.

Furthermore, Ms. Başak Sevinç proposed to act as a bridge between our department and the executives of two other prominent institutions regarding recruitment processes—a proposal we welcomed with great enthusiasm. We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to our guests for this highly enjoyable and mutually beneficial meeting.
